- Transform numbers and data into real-world insights. The master’s program in applied statistics & analytics provides you with advanced knowledge and real-world applications in data science. You’ll also learn valuable teamwork and presentation skills that are essential in the workplace.
- We offer several sequences of coursework. These include data management and programming; data mining predictive modeling; big data analytics option; and applied statistics option.
- Most of the courses require a semester-long research project. You are encouraged to exhibit your projects at the annual poster presentation. Outstanding projects are recommended for international project competitions organized by the SAS Institute. In previous years, several student projects have won competitions.
- The statistician employment rate is expected to increase 31% by 2028 projected by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. It is rated the best 6th best job of all disciplines and No. 1 in Best Business Jobs, according to U.S. & World Reports “2020 Best Job Ranking”.
