  • This concentration promotes learning and skill sets in resource conservation and science that will meet this objective. Universities and employers are looking for natural resource professionals who have the necessary tools to be able to attend graduate school or become employed by private organizations, private industry, and state and federal agencies whose primary mission is environmental protection and resource conservation.
  • This is particularly important since these organizations and agencies are under increasing demands to document and verify their activities in both protecting natural resources (i.e., aquatic and terrestrial) and assessing impacts on human, floral, and fauna populations relying on these environments.
