- The Master of Science in Engineering program is a flexible program designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of students.
- The program can be a stepping-stone on the way to further studies and the pursuit of advanced research, such as can be obtained by pursuing a Ph.D. Or the program can provide a pathway to professional advancement through greater technical knowledge and intellectual maturity.
- The student, with the help and approval of a major advisor, can choose from a wide range of courses from throughout the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS), and where appropriate, from other schools and colleges.
- The program is available in both Thesis and Non-Thesis options.
- The Thesis option takes 30 credits to complete the course.
- The Non-Thesis option takes 31 credits to be completed.
- The student must complete all degree requirements within five years of initial enrollment.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related subject from a recognized university.
- A minimum GPA of 2.75 is required on a 4.0 scale to be eligible for the program.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
Scores Required
Students need to submit a minimum GRE exam score for a better chance of admission.
