The HSA program educates health care managers in the theory and practice of health care business management. The program offers classes in the functional areas of business with health care applications as the focus and is intended for students who generally already work in the field but aspire to a management position. Students in this program learn to:?
- apply the theory of various business disciplines to healthcare settings
- assess health care information systems to allocate resources more efficiently
- examine health care legal issues relating to the delivery of patient care
- balance patient care needs with the financial restraints of the organization
- evaluate the effectiveness of quality measurement techniques on patient satisfaction and care
- integrate organizational change techniques in order to offer safe, efficient, timely, and patient-centered care.

Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Applicants must have minimum GPA of 3.0
- Submit two letters of recommendation from employers or professional associates

- Applicant must have three years of employment in past five years with at least one year in health care organization working in supervisory position
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
