The Finance major is offered through the Finance Department. It offers you the opportunity to focus your undergraduate studies in:
- Corporate finance
- Financial planning
- Investments
- Banking
- Insurance Studies Program
The ultimate goal for undergraduate students in the College of Business is the Bachelor’s degree.
While the degree is the same for most business students, all students will be required to select a major field of study upon completing their lower division course requirements. Upper division courses focus on the major field of study and broader business concepts.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education with English translation if not in English
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES approved agency
- Students should have a minimum GPA of 2.75 or equivalent on a scale of 4.0
- Submit English Language Proficiency scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 520 in PBT; 68 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum score of 95
