In addition to the basic NMSU Chemical Engineering curriculum, CHME has other curricula of study that include:
- Minors of Study in Biomedical Engineering (Fall 2016), Materials Engineering, Nuclear Chemical Engineering, Pre-Law Intellectual Property (Fall 2016), and Environmental Management.
- 5-year track to combined Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (BSCHE) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degrees.
- 5-year track to combined Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering degrees.

Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education with English translation if not in English
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES approved agency
- Students should have a minimum GPA of 2.75 or equivalent on a scale of 4.0
