Pre-Dietetics/Dietetics Option
The Dietetics Option within the HNDS major emphasizes dietetics sciences with many foundational science courses. This option enables graduates to pursue the registered dietitian credential and work in clinical and community settings.
Nutrition Education Option
The Nutrition Education Option within the HNDS major emphasizes nutrition and health science, and instruction. Graduates will be able to provide education to the community and the general public regarding healthy living and healthy eating.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education with English translation if not in English
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES approved agency
- Students should have a minimum GPA of 2.75 or equivalent on a scale of 4.0
- Submit English Language Proficiency scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 520 in PBT; 68 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum score of 95
