As a part of the UW-Parkside Business Department and the business program accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB), you'll be offered both course materials and internships/externships to develop your skill sets.
Business students build knowledge and skills in a variety of areas. However, the following learning goals are emphasized and assessed throughout the business curriculum:
- Students can recognize the ethical implications in a business situation and choose and defend an appropriate resolution.
- The students can write effectively about a business problem or issue.
- The students can make an effective oral presentation on a business problem or issue.
- Each student is knowledgeable in project management principles and is able to apply these principles to a practical situation.
- Students will be able to articulate important diversityissues ? including, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, culture, gender, age, socio-economic status and political/religious/ sexual orientation ? in business management.
- Students will be able to effectively use computer technology to support a business decision.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and all previous education completed
- Official transcripts must contain course by course evaluation and should be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
- Submitting SAT/ACT is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
