Students who are accepted into the Advanced Standing Program may have up to 30 credit hours of their BSW degree substitute for the first (generalist) year of the MSW program.

The MSW program may be taken on a part-time basis. This option will take four years, including two summers, of combined academic and experiential learning.

Academic Requirements:

Applicants must have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university
Submit official transcripts of all previous educational institution attended
Official transcripts must have a course by course evaluation from a NACES accredited agency
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent on a scale of 4
Students with GPA lower than 3.0 need to give an interview
Submit a one page personal statement about your career and personal goals connected with graduate studies
Submit English Language Proficiency test scores

TOEFL: minimum 79 in iBT; 213 in CBT; 550 in PBT
IELTS: minimum 6.5
