Students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Writing program at the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences build backgrounds in both professional and creative writing. The program allows students to develop specialized writing skills in areas such as business, technical, and journalistic writing. Students prepare for careers in writing, publishing, and education; to write professionally for magazines, newspapers, and businesses; and to pursue a variety of Ph.D. programs of study.
