The economics major at the University of Findlay prepares?learners for the challenges of the business world in the 21st century.?Majoring in economics helps students develop a critical and analytical thought process in order to successfully operate in a world that is increasingly global. Economics majors?build strong written and oral communication skills through courses where group and individual projects are assigned as well. Upon successful completion of the program, students earn a bachelor of science degree in economics and are prepared to pursue a variety of careers in business and government.
Our program is flexible and?pairs well with a number of other subjects allowing students to individualize their?degree to best fit their career goals. Students pursuing the economics major have the opportunity to complement their degree?with?a minor or double-major in other areas of business such as:

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and school leaving certificate or diploma
- Students must have a GPA of 2.0 or equivalent on a scale of 4.0 for admission
- SAT/ACT scores are not required
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 61 in iBT
IELTS: minimum score of 6.0 - PTE Academic: minimum score of 50
- Duolingo: minimum score of 95
