- The Counseling and Development Program offers a Doctoral Program, Master's Degree Programs in Community Agency Counseling, and School Counseling as well as Post-Master's Licensure Programs for aspiring Licensed Professional Counselors and School Counselors. The Counseling and Development Program is housed within the Graduate School of Education and has faculty from leadership positions in communities and schools.

- Students must have completed a baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution.
- Students required a 3.0 Grade Point Average on a 4.0 scale in undergraduate work.
- Students are expected to have completed a degree in engineering, business, computer science, or information technology, with foundational competence in calculus, statistics, and computer programming.
