As a health promotion professional trained in our program at ESU, you will possess the knowledge and skills to affect lifestyle choices and improve the health of people, communities, and organizations. You will work with issues like tobacco prevention, HIV/AIDS prevention, teenage pregnancy, dental disease prevention, bone disease prevention, diabetes, and many other preventable conditions. As the costs of healthcare and health insurance skyrocket, we pay for the treatment of conditions that are otherwise preventable through increased health insurance premiums and taxes. Accordingly, the number of jobs in this growing career field is expected to increase steadily.
