- Master of Science in Computer Science at Duke University is a 2 years program.

- For the course-only option, the exam is administered by a three-person committee appointed by the Department Chair and is based on a portfolio, composed of research papers, project reports, presentations and other professional documents produced during the course of the MS.
- The program requires completion in advanced courses in the area of concentration, two courses from a related field, and two approved electives.
- The M.S. program has optional concentrations in Cybersecurity and Artifical Intelligence/Machine Learning.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold either a US bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited institution.
- A student entering graduate study in computer science should have suitable undergraduate preparation in mathematics and computer science.
- Students required an average grade of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
