Drake?s Rhetoric, Media, and Social Change (RMSC) program allows students to explore how language and symbols shape who we are and what we do. Grounded in the liberal arts, the RMSC program combines the study of a broad range of subjects with training in critical theory, discourse analysis, and cultural performance. Students in the program learn to analyze forms of media, knowledge, and power to become critical thinkers and engaged citizens.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school/secondary school attended showing all year grades and proof of completion of high school
- Submitting SAT/ACT scores is mandatory for test score pathway
- Students with test optional pathway need to submit an essay or attend a personal interview
- Submit a personal essay about yourself
- Submit a recommendation from your high school teacher or counselor
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 71 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 105
- PTE: minimum 48
