This can lead to a well-rounded liberal arts education. The major is not directed toward any particular vocation or certification. The emphasis of this major is on distribution rather than concentration. Each General Studies major is encouraged to develop a program of study according to her/his own needs, interests, and career goals. The selection of courses is largely left to the student. Students may not declare a second major and be registered for the General Studies major.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Applicants must have minimum 2.5 or equivalent
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in ibt; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 6
- Duolingo: minimum 105
- PTE: minimum 52
Indian Student Requirements:
- Applicants must have passed class XII from CBSE/ICSE or state boards
- Applicants must have scored 60 percent in grade XII
