- The Psychology MA program emphasizes research and scholarship contributing to the scientific understanding of psychology. Students may, through selection of appropriate elective courses, choose a concentration within the field of general psychology.
- Areas of concentration represented in the department of psychology include behavioral neuroscience, clinical psychology, cognitive psychology and social-personality psychology.
- This program does not provide the necessary training for graduates to be eligible to work as counselors or therapists upon graduation.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- A bachelor's degree.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is recommended for admission to the graduate programs.
Indian Eligibility:
- A bachelor’s degree.
