The Data Analytics concentration will arm students with a high-demand skill set – the ability to analyze, manipulate, and draw inferences from large data sets.
This rising discipline requires practitioners with know-how that cuts across core business disciplines and well-developed critical thinking and communication skills, which are deeply informed by context.
The Data Analytics concentration must be coupled with a primary concentration within the major. Students receive both the theoretical and practical knowledge essential to applying advanced business data analytics methods and models to a diverse set of business topics and challenges across functional concentrations in our program (Finance, HR, MIS, Marketing, and Operations and Supply Chain).
The Data Analytics concentration paired with a primary concentration will provide students with a frame of reference by which to analyze the data.

University at Buffalo - horns up

University at Buffalo is one of the major colleges around where I was born and raised. I grew up going to basketball and football games. It was only natural that when the time to look for colleges came about, The University at Buffalo was on my list to check out. Once I researched it further, I found that UB had an amazing business program and it had tuition I could afford all while staying local. Not to mention UB social life and 600+ clubs, I felt as though it was the perfect fit for me.
