The Information System concentration is designed for students interested in the intersection of computer science and business, particularly in the area of information management. The concentration requires 1 additional CS course and 3 additional BUS courses in the upper division on top of the requirements for the general concentration.
Berea?s Computer Science Department is well-known for its caring faculty and strong curriculum. The Department offers a major in Computer and Information Science with three different choices of concentrations as well as a minor in Computer Science.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must submit official transcripts of secondary school and post secondary school
- Submit an essay of 2-5 pages
- Submit two teacher recommendation forms
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Proficiency Test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 68 in iBT; 520 in PBT; 190 in CBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 95
- PTE: minimum 58
