Course Curriculum
Program Structure is poor. I hope they change it soon. It's very rigid, and kind of outdated when it comes to modern robotics. Can't complain much since it's offered by mechanical department. Professors are very good. All of the good ones have joined recently, and the robotics scene is picking pace. Will be better in coming days for sure, but don't know whether it would become as good as CMU.
Fees
30 credits * 2100$ / credit + admin charges
- The MSc degree in Mechatronics and Robotics will provide an interdisciplinary education to students through coursework, experiential learning, and project (or thesis) work.
- Students will learn fundamental theory, modeling methods, hardware components, interfacing requirements, simulation and programming tools, and practical applications of mechatronics and robotics.
- Specifically, real-world mechatronics and robotics systems will provide an avenue for physics-based system modeling.
- All courses as well as project (or thesis) work will engage students in hands-on learning and explorations that will provide them with a comprehensive experience in systems integration and product development.
- Finally, the entrepreneurship activities will allow students to envision and gain an appreciation of the pathway from education to careers.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Following are the requirements of the program:
- Students must have a bachelor’s degree and a good academic record in mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering from a reputable college or university.
- Applicants with degrees from other fields may be admitted but may have to complete additional studies to achieve a comparable background.
