Our curriculum for the  major includes classes in microcomputer applications, computer graphics, computer animation, hypermedia, and discrete mathematics, all of which teach crucial quantitative and critical-thinking skills valued by employers. Students will learn in computer labs with math-based software, and have an opportunity to pursue practicum and internships, giving them the chance to learn by doing. 

Our students will graduate ready to become teachers, business analysts, programmers, research analysts, account executives, or to pursue other math or computer-related careers. 

Careers and Internships

A Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science offers numerous career options for students upon graduation. The majority of our undergraduate students in this major pair it with our teacher licensure option so that they may graduate and become a mathematics teacher. Others opt to further their studies in graduate school. Graduates from this major may decide to become an entry-level business analyst, programmer, research analyst, account executive, or to pursue other math or computer-related careers.


Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

  • Submit official transcripts from secondary or high school with proof of graduation
  • Official transcripts must be evaluated by any member of the NACES
  • Applicant must have completed following coursework: 4 years of English, 3 years of Maths, 2 years of History or Social science, 3 years of lab science, 2 consecutive years of foreign language
  • Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
  • Submit one academic recommendation
  • Submit one personal statement about yourself
  • Submit English Language Proficiency test scores

English Language Requirements:

  • TOEFL: minimum score of 69 in iBT
  • IELTS: minimum score of 6.0
