Philosophy seeks answers to questions concerning the nature and value of existence, the scope of human knowledge, what is right and?good, and what constitutes the best form of social life. The study of philosophy also promotes clear, precise, and logical thinking. The philosophy major aims to produce students with a broad knowledge of the history of philosophy and topics in philosophy.?
Religious Studies seeks to understand and evaluate the ways in which religion and religious practices address the deepest convictions from which many cultural forms are derived. It also examines the role that religion plays in determining the shape and tenor of culture and politics.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school or secondary school and other universities attended
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional for the students
- Applicants should have completed the following courses: 4 years of English; 3 years of Science; 3 years of Maths; 3 years of History/Social Science; 2 years of foreign language
- Submit one counselor letter of recommendation and teacher letter of recommendation is optional
- Submit a personal essay about yourself and your goals
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 550 in PBT; 213 in CBT; 80 in IBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 115
