Our Master's in SLPTC program includes 55 credits of coursework on core content areas such as phonological disorders, swallowing, aphasia, fluency, and augmentative and alternative communication. The program concludes with a comprehensive examination that is structured similarly to the national Praxis exam.


Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a bachelors degree from an accredited university
  • Submit official transcripts of all previous educational institution attended
  • Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
  • Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
  • Applicant must have spent 25 hours in clinical observation and 375 in direct/indirect patient contact
  • Complete the following prerequisite courses: Anatomy and Physiology of speech; phonetics; basic audiology; speech science; normal language and literacy development; clinical observation
  • Submit two letter of recommendation to review your academic abilities
  • Submit an essay
  • Submit English language proficiency test scores

English Language Requirements:

  • TOEFL: minimum 80 in iBT
  • IELTS: minimum 6.0
