Quantum University Roorkee Admission 2023: Courses, Application Form, Ranking, Fees

Quantum University offers BA, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BCA, BHM and BA-LL.B, BBA-LL.B and BBA + MBA (integrated) courses at UG level. The basic eligibility for BA, B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, BCA, BHM, BBA + MBA (integrated) courses is a pass in 10+2 from a recognized board or equivalent accepted by the University.

The candidates seeking admission for BCA, B.Sc. IT/Nutrition/Naturopathy & Yogic Science/ Radiology, BBA, B.Com and BHM should secure minimum 45% marks in the 10+2 examination with relevant subjects.

For B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture /Food Processing, B.Sc.(Hons), B.Sc., B.Com. (Hons) and BA (Hons), BA (Hons) in English and JEP and BBA + MBA, the minimum eligibility is at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam with relevant subjects.

Admission to all the UG courses is based on merit obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examinations. However, for B.Sc. Animation & VFX/ UI & Graphic Design, the candidates who have qualified NID DAT (Prelims) will be given preference.

The University also offers B.Tech (Regular+Lateral), B.Tech (Hons) and B.Tech + MBA (integrated) courses at the UG level. The B.Tech courses offered by Quantum University are:

Eligibility:  10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology/ Computer Science (IT). At least 50% or 55% for B.Tech (Honors) marks in the above three subjects taken together. The Candidate must have passed English as a subject in 10+2 Examination. Merit in University Entrance Exam(Q-CARE), IITJEE (Mains), State Level Entrance Exams shall be given preference.

Selection Process: Selection to all the programs is done on the basis of JEE Main or any state level entrance examination. Candidates can also appear for University entrance examination (Q-Care).

MA, M.Sc and MCA (Lateral Entry) courses are offered at PG level. For MA, a candidate must pass in graduation in any stream with the relevant subject and minimum 50% marks in aggregate. For M.Sc., candidate must pass in B.Sc. in Agriculture/Forestry/Horticulture/Fisheries/Biology/Bio-Sciences and with minimum 50% marks. Admission is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Quantum University also offers M.Tech and MBA courses as a part of PG level programs. The basic eligibility for M.Tech program is a pass in B.Tech/B.E degree in the relevant field. The candidate applying for MBA should have a graduate degree of minimum three-year duration from any stream with minimum 50% marks.

Admission to M.Tech is done on the basis of GATE score. Admission to MBA is done on the basis of CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT score.

Quantum University offers Diploma in Engineering and Pharmacy. The University also offers PG Diploma in Dietetics and Applied Nutrition. A certificate program in Hotel Management is also a part of the curriculum.

The basic eligibility for certificate course in Hotel Management is a pass in 10th standard (50% marks) with English as a main subject. The eligibility for D.Pharm is a pass in 10+2 with minimum 50% marks, with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology as one of the subjects.

The admission criteria for PG Diploma course is a Graduate degree in science stream with minimum 50% marks. Admission to all the programs is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Quantum University offers M.Phil and Ph.D. courses in various specializations at the Doctorate level. Selection is done on the basis of marks in an entrance test conducted by the university followed by an interview.

UGC NET/ CSIR JRF or GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the university-based entrance. Such students are directly eligible for admission. M.Phil/ Ph.D. test (online or offline) will be conducted at Roorkee campus and at major cities named as Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ranchi, Gauwhati, Bangalore, Delhi, Lucknow and Dehradun.

Online Application Form: Visit the official website of Quantum University and fill the application form. Pay the application fee of INR 1000 by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking.

Offline Application form: Download the application form from the official website of the university. Send the duly filled form with desired documents and the application fees of INR 1000 in the form of DD to university address.

Note: Envelope should be super-scribed with “Application for M.Phil/ Ph.D. Programs”.
