About COER
College of Engineering, (COER Roorkee) was established by Seth Roshan Lal Jain Trust is the year 1998. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, namely, B.Tech. in eight different specializations and M.Tech. in two different specializations. There are 810 seats and 36 seats in B.Tech. and M.Tech., respectively.
The college has witnessed year-wise placement progress with 84.6% placed in the 2018-19 batch. College of Engineering Roorkee Admission

How to apply?
- Step 1: Visit the official website of the college.
- Step 2: Select the desired course and fill the admission form with all the required information and documents.
- Step 3: Based on entrance exam scores a merit list is declared by the university for further counseling.
Candidates will be required to submit the following documents:
- Photocopy of qualifying examination Scorecard.
- Photocopy of Highschool mark sheet and certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer and also self-attested
- Photocopy of Intermediate Mark sheet duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
- Three self-attested passport size photographs
- T.C. to be submitted at the time of admission

The Placement and Career Development Cell of the college facilitate the process of placement for final year students. The cell organizes skill enhancement workshops, seminars and guest lectures for the students. The cell is well equipped with ample infrastructure in terms of seminar hall and dedicated auditorium for workshops and presentations.

College of Engineering Roorkee Scholarship
Financial aid is offered to meritorious & economically backward students. Each year several scholarships are awarded and these scholarships vary in value and have different criteria on which they are awarded.
- Financial assistance is provided to economically and/or socially weaker students by the State and Central government. The students need to apply for these on their official website.
- Fee concession is provided to students belonging to defense background, sports quota, and reserved categories. The amount of scholarship and the decision to provide scholarship is solely under the consideration of college administration.
College of Engineering Roorkee Facilities
The college campus provides a pool of resources. The campus is spread over a wide area of 75 acres in lush green surroundings accommodating spacious classrooms, laboratories, computer centre and other infrastructural facilities. The college has sound infrastructure at par with any of the leading institutions.
- Library: The library is fully airconditioned and is spread over an area of about 2455 sqm which also consists of stack room and reading room. It has a rich collection of latest books, national and international journals including more than 1500 online journals through IEEE, ASME, Science Direct, and more. Students get access to e-library for online access to e-books and other related material. The library also has an audio-visual section with TV along with more than 1800 CDs and DVDs.
- Infrastructure: College has state-of-art lecture rooms with audio and visual aids like whiteboards, microphones, collar mikes and more. The campus has Wi-Fi facilities and smart classrooms enabling web-based learning. It has well-equipped laboratories and a computer center with a high-speed internet connection. It also has an IBM Software Lab and BioFuel Research Lab.
- Sports: The institute has sports facilities for several indoor and outdoor sports. Sports like Cricket, Football, and Volleyball. It also has Carom, Badminton, Chess, Table Tennis equipment. The campus has a well-equipped and air-conditioned gym with an instructor.
- Hostel: Good quality accommodation is available for both UG and PG students with round-the-clock security. Rooms are well ventilated and offered on a single or twin-sharing basis. Each room is provided with study tables, chairs, bookshelves, wardrobe and comfortable beds. Each hostel has a dining hall and a recreation room. Wardens supervise each hostel. There are three girls and six boys’ hostels with a capacity of 612 and 1620 students, respectively.
