IIITDM Jabalpur Admission 2024: Dates, Eligibility, Cutoff, Selection Criteria, Application Process

Admissions take place in July through the Centralized Admission Examination for B.Tech and through Undergraduate Combined Entrance Examination (UCEED) for B.Des. They are both full-time degree programs offered to students at IIITDM Jabalpur.

IIITDM Jabalpur B.Tech & B.Des. Admission Process

Students willing to apply for B.Tech admissions must qualify JEE Mains while B.Des aspirants must qualify UCEED. The following section discusses the process of admission for both B.Tech and B.Des.

JEE Mains 2023

The application fee for taking this exam varies with the type of candidature. The application fee for the general category is INR 325. The following section throws light on the requirements and the process of registration for JEE Mains.

Documents Required

• Scanned and recent photograph coloured or black/white (but clear contrast) JPG/JPEG format. Size should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
• Scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format. Size should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
• Application forms with unclear photographs will be rejected. 

How to Register?

• Visit the official website of JEE Main and click on “Fill Online Application Form”.
• Register by giving your personal details, to generate a user id and password.
• The application number will be generated after submitting the details for registration.
• The form requires personal details, address, and mobile number.
• You can set your security question and password to access the application for the future.
• Submit the application form by logging in with the same user id and password that you had set.

UCEED 2023

Registrations are allowed only if the candidates fulfill the eligibility of completing high school, not attempted the test more than twice and the date of birth is not before October 1, 1995. Read the following section to know about the documents required at the time of registration.

IIITDM Jabalpur B.Tech Cutoff 2023 (Expected)

IIIT Jabalpur JEE Main cutoff is the minimum rank to get admitted to the B.Tech program. The cutoff will be released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The cutoff depends on various factors such as rank secured in the JEE Main examination, availability of seats, choice filling, reservation criteria, etc. IIIT Jabalpur BTech expected cutoff 2023 for general category candidates based on JoSAA 2022 round 1 opening and round 6 closing ranks is tabulated below:

Documents Required

• A recent coloured photograph of full frontal (face) view, not older than six months (only JPEG image formats with file extension .jpg) will be accepted.
• Scanned copy of the candidate’s full signature on white paper (only JPEG image formats with file extension .jpg) will be accepted.
• Qualifying examination certificate (only PDF formats with file extension .pdf will be accepted).
• Candidates who will be appearing in 2023 for the board exam, a certificate from the school/college principal.

IIITDM Jabalpur M.Tech & M.Des. Admission Process

Students must be GATE qualified in order to get admission in M.Tech and CEED qualified for M.Des program. 

GATE 2023

GATE is required by those students who are willing to apply for a master’s or Ph.D. program. The section below throws light upon the registration and requirement of documents.

Documents Required

• Scanned photograph and signature 
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id. 

CEED 2023

This test is conducted by IIT Bombay to admit students in the M.Des program. Merely qualifying the exam does not guarantee the applicants admission to top colleges. The following information is about the documents required and about registration.

Documents Required

• Recent coloured photograph (.jpg file)
• Scanned copy of signature (.jpg file).
• Scanned copy of degree/diploma certificate (.pdf file) if the course is completed. 
• If the applicant does not have the final degree certificate, they can upload a copy of the final year mark list or the provisional certificate. 

How to Apply?

The applications must be submitted online, through the official website- www.ceed.iitb.ac.in. 

Admissions to the Ph.D. program at IIITDM Jabalpur are offered in 7 different areas of study. The course is 2 years long and requires students to qualify any one of the below mentioned national level exam to be admitted into the program. Ph.D. is offered in:

• Computer Science & Engineering
• Electronics & Communications Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Design 
• Natural Science (Mathematics)
• Natural Science (Physics)
• Natural Science (English)

IIITDM Jabalpur Ph.D. Eligibility

To be eligible for admission to Ph.D. at IIITDM, students must score a minimum of 60% or a 6.0 CPI/CGPA (on the scale of 10.00) is required along with a master’s (M.Tech./M.Des./M.Sc./M.A./M.B.A., etc.).

Also, the candidate must have qualified GATE/CEED/ (CSIR/ UGC-JRF/NET) or equivalent examination.
