The B.Tech. program is offered under two specializations for a duration of four years. To be eligible for admission, the candidates must possess a 10+2 qualification in PCM with a minimum of 50% marks. Admission to the program is done on the basis of a valid score in JEE Main.
At the PG level, the institute offers M.Tech. Computer Science Engineering under four specializations. To be eligible for admission, the candidates must have a B.Tech. degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Selection to the program will be based on scores in GATE.
Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. program should have a Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent or an M.Phil degree with Mathematics as a major subject.
Ph.D. admission is based on a written exam conducted by the institute followed by an interview.

B.Tech. Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility to apply for the course is 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subjects.
IIIT Vadodara B.Tech. Selection Criteria
Admission will be based on the candidate’s performance in the JEE (Main) followed by a round of counseling.
Based upon the merit in the written examination, the Central Counseling Board of JEE (Main) will invite the candidates for counseling at selected centers and seats for various participating institutions are allotted, based upon individual merit.
