The candidate Should have passed Graduation in relevant Stream fro a recognised University

Eligibility:

The basic eligibility for admission to the MBA program is a minimum of 50% marks at 10+2 level along with a graduate degree in the relevant specialization.

Selection Process:

Admission to MBA will be granted on the basis of the UPESMET entrance exam (conducted by UPES) or Any National Entrance exam. 

On the basis of a valid score in any of the above-mentioned Entrance test candidates will be called for Group discussion and Personal Interview.

UPESMET Test Scheme: Question will be asked from the following sections as tabulated below:

Key Points:

• For MBA in Oil & Gas / Power Management / Energy Trading / Logistics & Supply Chain Management / International Business, students with minimum MAT score of 80 percentile will be exempted from UPESMET and will only be called for Group Discussion & Interview if qualified. Valid CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT score will also be accepted.
• For MBA in Port & Shipping Management / Aviation Management / Urban Infrastructure & Development / Business Analytics/ HR/ Operations/ Marketing & Finance, the students with minimum MAT score of 75 percentile will be exempted from UPESMET and will only be called for Group Discussion & Interview if qualified. Valid CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT score will also be accepted.

Scholarship

For MBA programs, University of Petroleum and Energy Sciences offers scholarships on the basis of Merit. 

Eligibility &Scholarhip criteria

• Minimum 80 percentile score in CAT/XAT
• Minimum 90 percentile score in MAT, NMAT, UPESMET & any other National Level Entrance Test.
• 5% seats in each program for 25% tuition fee waiver in 1st semester
