IIT Roorkee also offers MBA and M.Sc. degree as Postgraduate courses. The M.Sc. course is offered under 6 different specializations, for a duration of two years. The MBA course is also offered for a period of two years.

Admission to the MBA depends upon the CAT score obtained by the candidates, based on which the eligible candidates are invited for the Group Discussion and Interview rounds. The M.Sc. candidates are evaluated on the basis of their JAM scores.

The final merit for making offers of admission to the MBA course will be on the basis of their aggregate performance in the Written Test (CAT 2016) followed by Group Discussion, Interview and their Work Experience as per respective weightages:-
