MBA at Allahabad University is offered through the Motilal Nehru Institute of Research and Business Administration (MONIRBA). The course is offered in 4 specializations, namely Human Resource Management, Marketing, Finance, and Rural Development. Any graduate degree holder can apply for admission. Admission to MBA will be done through the PGAT entrance test conducted by the university. Candidates who are appearing in the final year of the qualifying exam can also apply for MBA admission.

Allahabad University MBA Eligibility Criteria

Those applicants who are intending to fill out the Allahabad University MBA application form must first check their eligibility conditions before applying.

• The candidate must be at least 27 years old as of July 1st of the admission year.
• Candidates must be Indian citizens in order to apply for this exam.
• The minimum requirement for admission to the MBA programme is that applicants have completed graduation (for a minimum of three years) from a Government of India approved institution in any stream or an equivalent.
• The applicants must have received at least 55% of their grades (5% relaxation for reserved category) in their graduation.
• Final-year students are also permitted to apply for this examination of the undergraduate class, provided that they get their final graduation pass result no later than the University's designated deadline.

Allahabad University MBA Admission Process

Admission will be based on the entrance examination and oral test conducted by the University.

• Merit list will be uploaded by university according to the performance in entrance exam
• Qualified candidates will be called for oral test 
• Final merit list will be based on the both written and oral test of maximum 600 marks and 100 marks respectively.

Allahabad University MBA Entrance Exam Pattern

Written Test:The written test is conducted at various centers of all over country. The test will be of 600 marks which include the written communication, logical thinking, reasoning power, aptitude for management learning and practice. Written Examination pattern is given below:

Oral Test: Oral test will be of 100 marks and the test is divided into two parts.

1. Group Leadership (50 marks): In Group Leadership the testing will be done by the grouping candidates practicable groups and conducting discussion on chosen themes to check the candidate's leadership ability, group behavior and adjustment with group dynamics.
2. Personal Interview (50 marks)

Foreign Candidates: Admission of the foreign candidates will be made on the recommendation of Foreign student’s advisor If extra seats are available in the university.Foreign students can also apply without entrance test on the recommendation of Government of India.
