New Delhi: Allahabad University has begun the application process for Allahabad University Combined Research Entrance Test (CRET) that is conducted for admissions to the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) course.

Interested candidates must fill out the Allahabad University CRET 2022-23 online application form from the official website @https://www.allduniv.ac.in/. The applicants should read the instructions before applying online. The Combined Research Entrance Test (CRET) is an examination that is conducted by Allahabad University for admission in its various Postgraduate courses like M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., MPEd etc. The exam is usually held during the months of June and July every year.

Allahabad University CRET 2022-23: Eligibility Criteria

All the Candidates who are seeking admission to the UG courses will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria.

• Candidates should have passed the postgraduate examination with a minimum of 55% or equivalent examination for all UR candidates whereas 50% marks for all OBC/SC/ST/PH candidates.
• For the General/OBC candidates; a minimum average score of 54% in their entire academic career (or the Grade/Grade Point) and for the SC / ST / PH candidates 49% is required.
• Candidates with III division or equivalent letter (Grade/Grade Point )at Graduate & PG level are not eligible for CRET Exam 2023.

Allahabad University CRET 2022-23: Exam Details

Allahabad University CRET Examination is held in two levels i.e Level 1 is the written exam (offline mode) and Level 2 is Interview / Presentations/GD. The CRET 2022 will be conducted for 43 different subjects with 709 seats out of which 316 seats are the University Departments/Centres and 393 seats in Constituent Colleges affiliated to the University of Allahabad.

All the Candidates who are found eligible for Level 2 (including JRFs /CSIR qualified candidates) should contact the concerned departments/ centre/institute. The interested candidates must fill up the form to get admission in its PhD programme. Moreover, the admission will be confirmed only after checking the availability of seats. Candidates intending to pursue inter-disciplinary research will be permitted to apply for CRET 2021 in any one of the allied subjects for which the Certificate of Eligibility shall have to be submitted in original.

Step 3: After that login with your registration credentials and fill the Application form. Step 4: Next, you will need to pay the application fee and then submit the Application form. Step 5: Applicants should also take a print out of the form for the future reference.
