Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science - [HITS], Chennai - Scholarship Details

Hindustan University Scholarships are offered to eligible candidates to support and promote higher education. A total of 4525 students were granted scholarships for the academic year 2023. Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science offers various scholarships based on the factors such as merit in the examinations, economic background, sports quota and child/spouse of HITS Employees. • Dr KCG Verghese Merit Cum Means Scholarship: Scholarships are offered for top scorers as well as students with high scores from economically weaker backgrounds. 
• Dr Elizabeth Verghese Founder Chancellor Scholarship: Scholarship offered to girls from low-income families to encourage them to pursue higher education.
• Hindustan Loyalty Scholarship: Scholarship is provided for children/immediate family of Alumni/Staff or for alumni to pursue higher studies.
• Research Fellowship: Full-time research scholars pursuing MS, M.Phil and PhD in various disciplines are eligible for fellowship offered by Hindustan University. 
• Sports Scholarship: Students excelling in sports can benefit from this scholarship. Students participating at the National, State and Inter-University levels are eligible.
