Annamalai University BSc Eligibility
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 exams.
- Must have qualified in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, (or) Physics, Chemistry Zoology & Botany. Also must have studied English.
- Must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in PCB.
- Must have completed 17 years of age and the upper age limit is 30 years. Upper age limit relaxation is given to SC/ST/SCA with 35 years.
Annamalai University BSc Admission Criteria
- The admission process for B.Sc is based on the candidate’s academic merits.
- The university will prepare a Rank List/Merit List considering the percentage of total marks obtained by the candidate in higher secondary examinations conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board / any other equivalent board.
- Then the university will conduct counselling as per the eligibility norms and reservation categories.
- 5% seats reserved for differently-abled candidates.
How to apply for the B.Sc program?
- Visit Annamalai University’s official website.
- Click on the admission notification and select the application form.
- The online application number is the same as the registration number.
- Now fill in all the details and attach the mandatory documents required.
- Now submit and proceed to pay the application fee of INR 800.
- The candidate must submit only one application.

Preparation of Rank List
- The marks obtained by the students in the relevant subjects in the qualifying examination conducted by other Boards are equated with the marks obtained by the students in the same subjects in the qualifying examination conducted by the State Board of Tamil Nadu. This is called the normalization of marks.
- After normalisation of marks, the qualified students shall be merged into a common merit list.
- Applicants from boards such as CBSE, ISCE etc. will have the highest mark obtained in the relevant subject at the National Level alone considered for normalization.
- For minimum eligibility, normalized marks will be considered.
- The merit list is prepared based on the total marks out of 200.
