Comparing IIIT Hyderabad and BITS Pilani cannot be done in terms of with as both are reputed institutes. However, they can be compared on the basis of individual parameters.

Now it’s up to you to decide which factor will affect you the most. In my opinion choosing IIIT Hyderabad over BITS Pilani is a no-brainer as IIIT Delhi is the best when it comes to CSE. Its curriculum is designed exceptionally well. Apart from this, it fairs well in terms of modern technology, infrastructure, faculties, placements, and greater opportunities for higher studies and research. The only institutes that give IIIT Hyderabad an edge are IIT Bombay and IISc Bangalore. You are bound to gain a lot of fun experience and knowledge at IIIT Hyderabad and won’t regret joining it ever.

However, this definitely does not mean BITS Pilani is not any good. It’s just that the outcomes offered by both institutes are different. If you want to go for MBA or Government Services in the future, BITS Pilani is a good choice as it offers a wider range of opportunities in contrast to CSE at IIIT Hyderabad which is suitable only if you want to stay in this field till the end.

BITS Pilani is better for studying Computer Science. It is an old and reputed technological institute with an excellent placement record. BITS Pilani placements 2022 witnessed the highest CTC of INR 1.33 CPA. The average CTC stood around INR 28.99 LPA.  

Due to the no reservation policy, the student crowd of the institute is excellent. You will share your classrooms with talented people. BITS has a thriving research culture. From the 2nd year onwards, you can take part in study projects/computer projects/lab-oriented projects. Also, the compulsory internships can be a great value add to your resume.

The hostel facilities available at BITS Pilani are unmatched by any IIT. Even recruiters do not make a distinction between IITs and BITS Pilani when it comes to reputation.

• IIT BHU has a far better placement than BITS Pilani.
• Being part of the IIT league means that you can explore yourself with other IITs by participating in inter-IIT tech, sports meets or other inter-IIT meets.
• IIT has more brand value than BITS Pilani.
• IITs charge fewer fees than BITS Pilani.
• IITs have bigger and better alumni bases than BITS Pilani.
• IITs are well-known and have a more international reputation than BITS Pilani.

Ultimately, the choice between IIT BHU and BITS Pilani will depend on your individual needs and goals. It is important to weigh the pros and cons of each institution and consider your future aspirations when making your decision.

BITS Pilani CS is better than IIT Mumbai Chemical Engineering in terms of placements. Top MNCs such as Microsoft,  Goldman Sachs, etc. visit the campus placements. The recent highlights of BITS Pilani placements show the average package of CSE to be around INR 17-20 LPA. The highest CTC for CSE is around INR 44 LPA. 

BITS Pilani offers an enviable campus experience with a lot of academic freedom. 

For CS, BITS Pilani is better than IIT BHU. It offers excellent resources, infrastructure, academics, and placements for the branch. BITS is widely recognized in the CSE domain. The curriculum followed is probably the best among the technological institutes in the country. 

The recent highlights of BITS Pilani placements show the median CTC for CSE to be around INR 18 LPA. While the highest CTC goes up to INR 40 LPA. All major MNCs visit the campus drive. If you can afford the course fee, you should go for BITS.
