Admission to the B.Tech program at NIT, Jalandhar is done based on the performance of the candidates in JEE Main followed by JoSAA counselling. Minimum eligibility for B.Tech is candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and one of the following as optional subject: Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science or Biology and minimum 60% marks.

I chose this course as I am very passionate about engineering and I particularly chose civil engineering as my family consists of many civil engineers. My interest in civil engineering is why I am choosing this course And faculty of my institute is very helpful towards students and the method of teaching is very simple all faculty done with a Ph.D. and 2 exams in the semester 1st is mid-semester and the other end semester and questions of exam are come from the faculty lecture and if you listen attentively all the lectures you passed the semester easily.
