North Maharashtra University (NMU) Admission 2024: Dates, Courses, Application Process, Eligibility, Result, Merit List

NMU offers B.Tech with various specializations at the undergraduate level with a duration of 4 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into B.Tech is 10+2 and candidates are selected on the basis of merit in an entrance examination. NMU offers B.Tech courses with various specializations are tabulated below:

NMU B.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

Admission into the B.Tech program at NMU, candidates must have passed 10+2 in PCM with 50% from a recognized board.

NMU B.Tech Selection Criteria:

Admission into the B.Tech at NMU is done based on merit in MHT-CET followed by counseling.

NMU offers various undergraduate courses like BA, B.Sc, BBA, BCA, BMS, BBM in the field of Arts, Science, Management, Computer Science. Admission to such courses, candidates must have passed 10+2, and selection to these courses is merit-based. NMU offers UG courses with specializations that are tabulated below:

NMU UG Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2/ M.C.V.C from Maharashtra State Education Board or Diploma recognized by the Board of Technical Education for getting admission into BCA
• Candidates must have passed 10+2/ M.C.V.C from Maharashtra State Education Board or Diploma in Engineering/ Pharmacy from Maharashtra Technical Board or its equivalent for getting admission into BBA/ BMS
• Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream with 50% in Mathematics for getting admission into B.Sc
• Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream with 45% for getting admission into BBM
• Candidates must have passed Graduation in any stream for getting admission into BA (Additional Music)

NMU UG Selection Process:

• Admission into the BCA/ BBA/ BMS/ BBM at NMU is done based on merit in MHT-CET followed by counseling
• Admission to B.Sc/ BA courses at NMU is done based on merit in the last qualifying examination

NMU offers M.Tech with various specializations at the postgraduate level with a duration of 2 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into M.Tech is Graduation and candidates are selected on the basis of merit in an entrance examination. NMU offers M.Tech courses with various specializations are tabulated below:

NMU M.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

Admission into the M.Tech program at NMU, candidates must have passed Graduation in B.Tech/ B.E or equivalent with 55% from a recognized university.

NMU M.Tech Selection Criteria:

Admission into the M.Tech at NMU is done based on merit in MHT-CET followed by counseling.

NMU offers MBA at the postgraduate level with a duration of 2 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into MBA is Graduation and candidates are selected based on merit in an entrance examination. 

NMU MBA Eligibility Criteria:

Admission into the MBA program at NMU, candidates must have passed Graduation in any stream with 50% from a recognized university.

NMU MBA Selection Criteria:

Admission into the MBA at NMU is done based on merit in MHT-CET followed by counseling.

NMU offers various postgraduate courses like MA, M.Sc, M.Ed., MSW, MCA in the field of Arts, Science, Computer Science, Social Sciences, Education. For admission to such courses, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree and selection to these courses is merit or entrance based. NMU offers PG courses with several specializations which are tabulated below:

NMU PG Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subjects with 50% from a recognized university for getting admission into MA
• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subjects with at least 50% from a recognized university for getting admission into M.Sc
• Candidates must have a B.Ed with at least 50% from a recognized university for getting admission into M.Ed
• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subjects with 45% from a recognized university for getting admission into MSW
• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with 50% in any subjects with Mathematics from a recognized university for getting admission into MCA

NMU PG Selection Process:

• Admission to MA/ M.Sc at NMU is done on the basis of merit in Graduation
• Admission into the M.Ed/ MSW at NMU is done based on merit in MHT-CET followed by counseling
• Admission into the MCA at NMU is done based on merit in MAH MCA CET followed by counseling

NMU offers M.Phil at the research level in the fields of Science with a duration of 1-3 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into the M.Phil program is Post Graduation. Selection to the M.Phil program is based on merit in an entrance examination followed by an interview. NMU offers an M.Phil program in various specializations are tabulated below:

NMU M.Phil Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject for getting admission into the M.Phil program at NMU.

NMU M.Phil Selection Criteria:

Admission to M.Phil program at NMU is done based on merit in an Entrance Test followed by an interview.

NMU offers Ph.D. at the research level in the fields of Arts, Science, Education, Technology, Computer Science, Social Science, etc with a duration of 3-5 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into the Ph.D. program is Post Graduation. Selection to the Ph.D. program is based on merit in an entrance examination followed by an interview. NMU offers the Ph.D. programs in various specializations are tabulated below:

NMU Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject for getting admission into the Ph.D. program at NMU.

NMU Ph.D. Selection Criteria:

• Admission to the Ph.D. program at NMU is based on merit secured in PET (Ph.D. Entrance Test) followed by an interview conducted by the university
• Candidates who have qualified NET/ JRF/ SET are exempted from the written test
