Peer group: The peer group and set of students that surround you are the best among the country and the energy inside the campus is amazing.
The people here are great, seniors are helpful, you have mentors everywher
Facilties: The facilities available are the best in India and at almost free of cost.
I like the infrastructure and the classrooms cibes those are unique and also the atmosphere was amazing
Sports amenities and organization of various competition is of great class.

Dislike

Slow administration work, you gotta keep pushing the office guys (SBI mini)
Weather: Though not directly linked to my college but to my location, Mumbai rains are terrible and it hampers you from doing anything for almost 4 months, leading to pretty monotonous routines during that period as you cannot even enjoy rains.
As resources are limited (and always be), the process to avail of them becomes merit based and competition kicks in.

IIT Bombay offers the best civil Engineering courses only in the country but also in the world. IIT B civil department is ranked 1 in the nation and 53rd internationally. Faculties are very well qualified. Every one of them holds PhD in their respective specialization from one of the best universities in the world. The exam pattern is quite student-friendly. We have 8 semesters in four years. Each semester has a Midsem exam and an endsem along with some quizzes.

I have a personal interest in Civil Engineering. It deals with fieldwork a lot in which I am interested. Our faculty is very nice and the gender ratio in our batch is good too. All the faculty are highly qualified one with commendable work experience.
