Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission, the candidates must possess a 10+2 qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with 60% aggregate marks.

GITAM University Bangalore B.Tech. Selection Criteria

Admissions will be based on the candidate's score in GITAM Admissions Test (GAT). GAT will be for the duration of two hours. The test will be for 400 marks (100 questions). All the questions will be in the Multiple Choice Questions form.

Subject wise distribution of the questions is tabulated below:

• Mathematics: 40
• Physics: 30
• Chemistry: 30

Note- 25% of seats in GAT will be reserved for brilliant students of Karnataka state for admission at the Bengaluru campus. Direct admission will be offered to all central & state board toppers.

Admission to the B.Tech. program is also granted on the basis of JEE Main scores

Under the UG admission 2021, University offers various UG programmes such as B.Sc, BBA, B.Com. for a duration of three years. The proposed UG programmes provide courses in the field of Technology, Science and Business.

GITAM University Bangalore M.Tech. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission, the candidates must possess a B.E/ B.Tech in any branch.

To be eligible for admission to M.Tech. Embedded Systems, the candidates must possess a B.E/ B.Tech in EEE/ ECE/ EIE/ IT.

GITAM University Bangalore M.Tech. Selection Criteria

For M.Tech. admission, candidates must hold Bachelor’s in Engineering/ Technology in the concerned disciplines. Admissions will be made through the candidate's score in GITAM Admissions Test (GAT) conducted by the university.

GITAM, Bangalore offers Masters in Business Administration (MBA) for a duration of two years. It is offered under the following dual specializations-

MBA- Bachelor’s in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks

GITAM University Bangalore MBA Selection Criteria

Admissions for MBA will be made on the basis of the combined scores of the candidate in GAT/ CAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ and Personal Interview. 

Candidates applying for IMBA will be selected on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam. Such applicants must have passed higher secondary exams in any stream securing minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

The candidate must possess a B.Sc in relevant discipline and with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks

Selection Criteria

Admission to the program will be granted on the basis of merit secured in the GAT exam.

University provides an M. Phil and Ph.D. under 7 disciplines with sub-specializations. It also provides these courses on a part-time basis for the working professionals who aspire for doctoral programmes. The maximum duration of the Ph.D and M.Phil programmes are four years and two years respectively.
