Bachelor of Veterinary Science [BVSc] & A.H. From CSK HPKV, Palampur

To get admission, Candidates have to fulfill the following Eligibility Criteria:

• They must have passed 10+2/Intermediate or equivalent examination with following subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English (as a core course) conducted by an Education Board/ University/ Council (duly recognized by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala/ Association of Indian Universities/ MHRD, New Delhi) with not less than pass marks in each subject.
• Minimum Percentage : 50% marks for General/ OBC category (47.5% for SC/ ST/ Person with Benchmark Disability category) in aggregate of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology.

                    OR

• Any examination equivalent to 10+2 level with 50% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English from a University/Education Board/College/School in a foreign country recognized by the University.
• Selection is only on the basis of Entrance Test score.

The College offers B.V.Sc. and A.H courses for 5½ years duration including an internship for one year. The courses have a maximum availability of 60 seats. The eligibility qualification for the courses is 10+2 passed with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as the main subjects from a recognized board. The admission is based on the entrance test conducted by the College.

CSKHPKV B.V.Sc. & A.H. Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility criterion for both the courses is 50% marks in 10+2 with core subjects being Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English from a recognized board attaining passing marks in each subject. The minimum percentage qualification for SC/ST/Person with Benchmark disability candidates is 47.5%.

The candidates will have to appear for the entrance examination conducted by the college to acquire admission in B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses. The reservations of seats are done as per the rules and regulations of the Government of India and the decision of review relies on the Academic Council.

CSKHPKV B.V.Sc. & A.H. Selection Criteria

• The candidates who meet the eligibility and qualify for the program will have to undergo a counseling session.
• The criteria of eligibility for acquiring admission in the above mentioned courses should essentially be met on the date of counseling.
• The applicant in order to get the admission must have acquired the age of 17 years by 31 December of the year of admission.
• The final admission depends on the marks obtained in the entrance test. In case of an equal score, the candidate who is older in age will be given an upper hand.
• The Vice-Chancellor of the college exercises the right to cancel/refuse the admission of any candidate with written reasons.
