IIM Ahmedabad MBA is a 2-year Full-time Flagship Program. IIM Ahmedabad Admission 2024 Merit List will be declared by April, 2024. The Admission Process for MBA consists of a 2 stage process. Candidates with a Valid Scores in CAT / GMAT and Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% Marks are eligible to apply for the MBA Program. IIM Ahmedabad MBA CAT Cutoff is 80 percentile (Overall) and 70 percentile (Sectional). IIM Ahmedabad MBA fees is INR 25,00,000.

IIM Ahmedabad MBA Selection Criteria

IIM Ahmedabad MBA Admission is based on

• Students must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA. Students belonging to the reserved category will be given 5% relaxation.
• The bachelor's degree must entail a minimum of three years of education along with 10+2 or equivalent.
• The conversion of marks or CGPA will be followed as per the norms of the university/institute from which the student has graduated. In case the institute/university does not provide any scheme of conversion then the IIM Ahmedabad will obtain the equivalence by dividing the obtained CGPA by the maximum CGPA and multiplying the result by 100.
• Aspirants appearing for the final year examination of the qualifying exam can also apply provided they submit the required documents in the stipulated time. Such a candidate’s admission will be on a provisional basis and will be confirmed when the student submits the mark sheets and certificate of passing the Bachelor’s degree with a required minimum percentage.

IIM Ahmedabad MBA Admission 2024: Key Changes in Criteria and Selection Process

The key changes in the admission criteria announced by IIM Ahmedabad in shortlisting and final selection process for admission to MBA(PGP) are mentioned below:

• CAT 2023 Score gets 65% weightage in the Shortlisting process.
• Work experience will carry 5% weightage at shortlisting stage.
• Sectional score required for CAT 2023 is 70 percentile for each of the three sections.
• 80 percentile is the overall minimum CAT 2023 score required for the selection process.
• In final selection PI-WAT carries 60% weightage.
• In the final admission selection 2024 only 25% weightage will be given to the CAT score.

IIM Ahmedabad MBA Admission Process

IIM Ahmedabad MBA Admission Process is divided in 2 stage, they are as follows:

Stage 1:

On the basis of Composite Score, Candidates are Shortlisted for AWT-PI Round.

Calculation for Composite Score= .35* (Pro-rated AR Score/35) + 0.65* (Normalised overall CAT Score).

Stage 2:

Based on Composite Scores, Students are called for Analytical Writing Test (AWT) & Personal Interview (PI) for further Selection. Final Selection is based on Candidate’s Overall Performance in CAT / GMAT Scores, Performance in AWT & PI Round, Academic Scores & Work Experience.

AR Scores is based on 10th, 12th, Bachelor’s Marks and Work Experience. The scores for the same is as follows:

IIM Ahmedabad MBA (PGP) How to apply?

To fill the application form, aspirants are requested to follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Visit https://iimcat.ac.in.
2. Click on New CAT Registration
3. Fill in all the required details and provide a valid email and phone number.
4. Applicants will receive a user id and password for further use.
5. Enter the OTP and click on Validate OTP and submit after entering the Captcha Code.
6. Check on “I Agree” and submit the CAT application form.
7. After submitting the details, a message on the registered mobile number containing the Password and an email containing the User ID will be sent.
8. Post successful completion of CAT Registration, a unique login id and password is generated.
9. These credentials are vital for filling CAT Application Form 2023.
