No such big internship has taken place but the internships are taken by students off campus on their own. No PPOS as such information right now. Some of the students also getting internships through on campus.
There are no intership opportunities (Summer Placements) provided by college. In 2021, it provided placement opportunities for the students after that no internship or placement opportunities. Although, it provides training in schools as provided in the curriculum (without stipendid) and gaining a good amount of experience in private and government schools both. In School Experience Program (SEP), we got to know about many things, we participated in various activities. As the course d.el.ed focuses main on teacher development, so I learnt various things like confidence, handling students, participation in activists, various works and many more. 1. Summer Placements: The college did not achieve 100% summer placements. Around 15-20% of students were left unplaced. Those unplaced typically managed internships through personal networks, online platforms, or by approaching companies directly. 2. Paid Internships: A significant number of students secure paid internships. Typically, around 70-80% of interns receive stipends. 3. Stipend Details: Average Stipend: Approximately ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 per month. Highest Stipend: Can go up to ₹50,000 to ₹70,000 per month, especially in tech and consulting firms. Lowest Stipend: Some internships may offer stipends as low as ₹5,000 per month. 4. Preferred Companies: Popular companies for internships among students include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and startups like Zomato and Ola. Monthly stipends for these companies typically range from ₹10,000 to ₹20,000, depending on the role and location. 5. Bulk Hiring Companies: Companies like TCS, Accenture, and Cognizant hire students in bulk for internships. These companies generally offer average stipends of ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 per month. 6. PPO Conversion: On average, about 30-40% of students convert their internships into Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). Yes, there is an option to sit for final placements after accepting a PPO, providing flexibility for students. 7. Internship Scenario in Other Courses: The internship scenario in courses like MBA or BBA is often better due to more structured placement cells and higher industry demand. Engineering courses may have more competition for certain roles, making the internship scenario slightly more challenging compared to management courses.
No the college didn't achieved 100% placement of internships. The remaining students have to do internship themselves. Around 10% in my opinion gets paid internships. Highest stipend is around 25k per month, avg is around 5-10k and lowest around 1k. Companies like deloitte hires the most students. In my opinion the internship scenario is better in other courses like btech.
