AIIMS, Delhi B.Sc Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admissions to B.Sc program of AIIMS, Delhi must satisfy the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates should have passed 12th under the 10+2 scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognised University with English, Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics as subjects with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
  • To appear for the entrance examination candidates should hold Indian Citizenship and should attain the age of 17 years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission.
  • Candidates in the final year waiting for their results can also apply.
  • A relaxation of 5% is provided to SC/ ST categories.

AIIMS, Delhi B.Sc Admission Guidelines

Admissions to B.Sc program at AIIMS are entrance based and candidates should hold a valid entrance exam score. All seats are filled strictly on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the institute itself. 

  • The entrance exam is conducted in Hindi and English languages and is held in 14 cities across the country. 
  • Candidates can take their program of choice and once results are out, shortlisted candidates are called for personnel assessment depending on the program specialisation.
  • Counselling for B.Sc courses shall be held online details of which are available on the official website. 
  • The counselling has three rounds out of which the first two rounds are online and the final round is held in physical form.
  • Candidates are allowed to change institutions and subjects in all rounds.
  • Vacant seats left after the final counselling are filled by spot counselling at the respective AIIMS separately & information is displayed on the official website or newspaper.
  • Selected candidates will then have to go for a medical examination.
  • Foreign candidates are exempted from appearing in the entrance examination, their admission is on the basis of marks/ grades secured in the previous qualifying examination.

The steps to apply for B.Sc admissions at AIIMs are below:

  1. All candidates seeking admissions are advised to read the prospectus and fill out the application form properly.
  2. After online registration, candidates shall deposit the prescribed fee through Debit/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.
  3. Candidates applying for admission under the special category must possess a valid caste certificate by the competent authority.
  4. Candidates can collect their admit cards through the official website.
  5. Once the entrance exam result is out, the list of shortlisted candidates will be made available on the website and Email/ SMS alert to the registered Email ID/ Mobile No. will be sent.
  6. Candidates selected based on the merit list of entrance exam marks will be called for Personal Interview by the selection committee of the institute.

Ques. Is it possible to get direct admission to B.Sc. program at AIIMS Delhi?
