Sri Venkateswara University (commonly referred to as S. V. University or SVU) was established in 1954, in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The university offers various UG, PG, Doctoral and Distance courses in the field of Engineering, Arts, Literature, Science, Computer etc. through its various affiliated colleges.
At the UG level the university offers B.Tech and B.Ed programmes. The university provides a cluster of courses at the PG level such as M.Tech, Integrated M.Tech, M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, MCA, MBA etc. The duration period of various UG, PG and Doctoral Programmes differs from each other.

Sri Venkateswara University B.Tech Admission 2023
At the undergraduate level, the university offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) focusing on the area of technology.The programme comprises various specializations in the different subjects. The programme takes four years to fulfill the duration period.
The candidates seeking admission in B.Tech programme need to go through an entrance test, known as EAMCET, is an entrance examination required for admission to some engineering and medical colleges in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, India.

Sri Venkateswara University M.Tech and Integrated M.Tech Admission 2023
The university offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Integrated M.Tech, both of the programmes comprise multiple specializations. The M.Tech programme holds a duration period of four years, whereas the duration of Integrated M.Tech is six years.
The university leads different admission procedures for the above mentioned PG level courses.
- To get admission in all of the specializations in M.Tech programme, apart from Space Technology and Applications, candidates need to appear in AP PGECET, conducted by the Andhra University. To apply online, must check the official website

The university provides a wide range of PG programmes emphasizing in the field of Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Law and so on. The M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Ed, M.L.I.Sc, MSW, LLM and
M.Pharm programmes are offered for a duration of two years, except M.Ed, M.L.I.Sc, MCA and PG Diploma, these courses hold one year duration period, whereas MCA takes three years to complete the duration period.

Sri Venkateswara University Distance Education Admission 2023
Besides the regular courses, the university provides multiple UG and PG programmes for the candidates seeking distance education. A number of courses focusing in the area of Arts, Science, Commerce, Social work, Public relation, Computer Application etc, are offered by the university.
Duration of all of the UG level programmes is three years, except B.L.I.Sc. The university provides the B.L.I.Sc programme for one year. All the Postgraduate level courses are offered with a duration of two years, apart from M.Li.I.Sc, MBA in Business Administration and PG Diploma. M.Li.I.Sc and PG Diploma take only one year to complete the duration period. The university offers MBA in Business Administration for two years of duration.
