- Forensic science is a dynamic discipline that is crucial to the investigation of crime, the collection of evidence and intelligence, and securing justice. This multidisciplinary MSc program offers students a unique opportunity to gain forensic science skills and methods within a holistic crime science framework.
- Students will develop an understanding of the fundamental principles of crime and forensic science, together with the key conceptual and philosophical frameworks in this field. They will gain practical skills in crime scene investigation, experimental design and implementation, statistical analysis, data analysis, and modeling, and will be able to evaluate the weight and applicability of forensic evidence for investigative and court purposes.
- Students will undertake modules to the value of 180 credits.
- The program consists of five core modules (75 credits), three optional modules (45 credits), and a research dissertation (60 credits).
- Upon successful completion of 180 credits, students will be awarded an MSc in Crime and Forensic Science.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students should have a minimum of an upper second-class Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard.
- Relevant disciplines will generally include science subjects, for example, chemistry, biology, physics, engineering or computer science; psychology, archaeology or geography.
- Applicants Should submit a portfolio of their design work once their completed application has been received, and should not send or upload work until it has been requested.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Students hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum overall CGPA of 7.75/10, 6.25/10, 5.75/8.0, 5.25/7.0, 3.75/6.0, 3.0/4.0, or 55% where a GPA scale is not used.
- The overall mark required is dependent on the subject and the ranking of the institution at which the degree has been taken.
Scores Required
- GRE and GMAT scores are not required.

- Visa nationals and non-visa nationals whose program of study lasts for more than six months must not attempt to travel to the UK without a valid student visa.
