Remarks :
The admission process at Lakshmi Narain College Of Technology is strictly based on Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) through MPDTE counseling. The application forms are released after the declaration of JEE results and the application fee is Rs 1530/- which is non-refundable. The students belonging to Madhya Pradesh get reservation benefits as per their category. The admission process is counseling so you just need to fill up the form and wait for the results if you match the cutoff you will get the college as per your choice filling order.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am a B.TECH student at LNCT Bhopal and I chose this professional degree course from a career perspective & also I want to experience a wide extent of opportunities that can give me a valuable outcome. Faculty-student ratio in our college is 1:85, The faculties are highly qualified mainly PhD holders from IITs, the teaching methods of different faculties are different, and the exams were on time as scheduled by RGPV. The exams that I heard from seniors are not usually tough and can be passed by preparing 2-3 weeks before the exam.
Internships Opportunities :
Newly started startups mainly give internship opportunities to the students, mainly the role offered is software design and web development. Stipends vary from company to company but on average according to seniors 12-15 thousand per month is offered at the beginning level.
Placement Experience :
As I am a first-year student I had a discussion with the seniors that from the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Last year more than 100 companies visited the college for campus recruitment (data collected from seniors). The average package offered was Rs. 500000 and the median salary according to NIRF data is Rs. 560000. The highest package offered was Rs. 1.12 crore which was off-campus placement which was given by AWS, the second highest is 1.10 cr which was again in Amazon. A total of 3200 offers were being made including on-campus and off-campus placements. About 85-90% of the students get placed in our college. My plan is to acquire more and more skills and getting a PPO till the completion of my course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in my college is Rs 5,30,400 for the academic year 2023-2027 (i.e. for 4 years] as per my branch and fee hike is generally 3-4% every year, the college fee remains the same for 4 years. The students not only from MP but also from different states get the advantage of the scholarship, MP SCHOLARSHIP is awarded to MP domicile students apart from that Bihar students also benefit with some amount as a scholarship and still if you do not fulfill the criteria of above-mentioned scholarships the college will help you out finding the best possible scholarship for you. College also provides internship opportunities which could work as a financial aid as well.
Campus Life :
LNCT provides us with various clubs and societies and from the year 2023 many new clubs are formed, a total of 42 clubs and societies are currently well-performing. It includes a Technical club, Literacy club, Art and drama club, sports club, and many more. Technical Fest (SRISHTI 2023) was a perfect blend of eco-socio-techno activities, it was held on the 14th and 15th of April 2023. The central library at LNCT includes various books related to your subject including Nowels, Research papers, encyclopedia,historic books, question bank, and many such. Every single classroom at our college is equipped with a projector, A.C. is present but not in classes only in some labs, lightning is proper and ventilation is well. Sports culture is really promoted in our college many students participate in various indoor as well as outdoor sports. The institute conducts an internal selection method to filter out the students for the final match, extra curricular activities include personality development and interview prep.
