Remarks :
We need to take an entrance examination named the Cuet Common Undergraduate Eligibility Test. It comprises of exams which you have studied in class 12th. The cut-off varies from college to college. The eligibility of the course is you need to have maths in class 12. The application form can be found on du site and the application date varies Feb and March. The dates must be informed before the games. I didn't avail of the reservation benefits but there are for sports quota and SC, ST, EWS
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course because of the wide opportunities that come along. The student ratio is 1:50. The faculty are well qualified with PhD degrees and the teaching method varies from teacher to teacher. The term exams were difficult in the first year and if you studied you could pass them
Placement Experience :
The campus placements are for students in the third year of college. Accenture, Gartner, KPMG etc are companies that visited and the no of offers made were less comparatively. The placement ratio is less only 10 percent of students get placed from college itself. I want to go into the corporate sector or banking
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees have been hiked up and the cost of the study is 15000-20000 but it varies as students come from far-off places so the extra cost is much extra than the course fee. I didn't get a scholarship from college but the college provides the scholarship to the needy and depending on the funds
Campus Life :
The annual fest is tempest. It is conducted in Feb and March. The library is well diversified with books and contains many informative books. The classroom is well equipped with lighting chalk and green board, desks and chairs table. There are sports and extracurricular activities such as basketball, chess, gym etc which can be assessed. Not as such social groups are run but overall the person is not from here but Vishalakshi Foundation is there who help the needy.
