Remarks :

I took admission through CUET, wherein I scored 774/800. Later did the formalities of applying to DU, and filling out the preference sheet. Previously you needed maths to do the honours course but CUET allowed you to choose between maths and accountancy. I took exams for both of them.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty of the commerce department in Kirori Mal College is really good and helpful. The curriculum of honors and program courses is quite similar. Talking about the teachers, they teach in a friendly and helpful way.

Class Size : 200Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience :

The campus provides placement opportunities. Internships are also circulated. Around 100+ recruiters visit campus. The highest package offered in 2022 was 32,00,000. However, compared to a large number of students the placement ratio is less.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of Kirori Mal College are comparatively less than other DU Colleges, and you can apply for scholarships. I personally haven't availed any scholarships. The placement cell provides internships and job opportunities.

Campus Life :

There are a lot of societies to be part of. All basic amenities are provided in the college itself and there is a sports complex for people interested in that. The college has a gym as well. The library has a reading room and books are available.

Placement Experience:

We are eligible for placement after the competition of 2nd year. Companies like Infotech, Wipro, and Havells are the recruiters of the college. The highest package is around 13 Lakh and the average is between 5-7 Lakhs as I understand now. More than 7.5 cgpa required to sit in placement.

I opted for bcom prog because I wanted to pursue my master's degree and a BCom degree will benefit me in my PG as I passed 12 with a commerce stream so I opted for bcom prog. faculty is good especially commerce faculty is good all teachers are kind enough. the difficulty level of exams is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom Hons is considered one of the most opted and finest disciplines. The faculty members were highly qualified and cooperative. The class size was around 60 students and 6 faculty members were assigned. At every 6 months semester exams were held and it was moderate or sometimes hard to pass the exam.
