Remarks :
I'm studying in btech cse and the eligibility for this course in mit wpu was to have a score of 94 and above in mhtcet or 90 and above in jee mains. The application form was available on the college's official website. The admission process was overall very smooth with zero to no issues.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose btech in computer science and engineering because I wanted to explore the world of coding and get a job in it too. The faculty at mit is very good and the teachers here all have good experience and knowledge in their fields. The student ratio is 1:80 in class. And the sex ratio is almost 1:1. Term exams were all conducted in a very strict and disciplined manner.
Internships Opportunities :
To be honest I have very little knowledge about the roles offered for internships but I do know that around 40 students were offered internships last year with a stipend. The highest stipend went up to 80 thousand which is a huge number for an internship.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for placement by the 5 th semester. More than 300 companies come to mit for placement. Our college has a very strong alumni. The highest package offered to a student in our college was 42lpa. Of the students who sit for placements 99-100 percent students get placements. My plan is to do post-graduation simultaneously whole doing a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is a 10 percent hike in college tuition fees every year and honestly, it isn't affordable for most students. The fees are high already and a 10 percent increase every year makes it even higher. There are scholarships based on your cet and JEE score tho.
Campus Life :
There are many fests in mit wpu. Some of them are Aarambh, sldp, techno vision, and many more and let me tell you that Mit has the best college fests in Pune if not Maharashtra. You can find literally Any book in our huge library. Classrooms are well equipped with state of art technologies. Extra curriculars are graeat too with sports like football basketball, etc.
