Remarks :
Minimum of 75% in class 12 required for admission Must have secured a good rank in JEE MAINS. Application forms open around Dec. and can be found on the official website of Jee Mains. It charges an application fee of Rs 2000 for the General category.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose CSE because I had an interest in Computers and programming. The faculty-student ratio is quite decent, about 30:1. Most of the teachers are PhD. holders and have a good command of the subject. The teaching methods are also nice.
Internships Opportunities :
Not many companies visit the campus to hire interns. Mediocre service based companies visit our campus. The stipend offered however depends on the negotiation power of the student. Roles offered are mostly of app develepor and web developer.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for placements after their third year, that is, 7th semester onwards. Companies like Yamaha and gyaan Milk and other average organizations visit our campus. The highest package was around 52 lacs and the average is around 16.5.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure is Tuition fee: 2,00,000 / year. Hostel fee: 1,50,000/ year. No scholarships are provided by the college, instead, students themselves apply for various scholarships externally, for example, from organisations like Reliance Foundation.
Campus Life :
The college does not have a permanent campus, currently, we are operating from the SBIT (Shri Balwant Institute of Technology) campus (Transit Campus). Also, there are no cultural fests organised in the college. Yes, there are clubs like GDSC, ENIGMATICS, etc.
