Remarks :
Eligibility: Students who are citizens of india, PIOs, OCIs, and foreigners are eligible to appear in the exam. A candidate who was born after 1999 and 5-year relaxation for the reserved category. candidates may appear and write the exam twice in two consecutive years. For eligible for jee advance you must have clear jee mains and must have more than 75% in the 12th board exam. You can find the application form and respective dates on Jee-Advance's official site.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I'm deeply interested in Chemical Engineering. Our faculty staff is so good and helpful. You can get help anytime from them for any of your personal projects. The student ratio is approximately 1:4. All faculty staff is overqualified and their teaching method is unique. After approx. every 1.5 months- 2 months. You have to deal with mid-sem and end-sem.
Internships Opportunities :
If you have skills you can get internship in any companies. Our student get internship from like adobe for desiging, in many companies as a developer. you can also get internship for product management, finance and analytics.
Placement Experience :
In IIT Kharagpur from the 6th semester, you can apply for internship and placement by CDC. All Big companies like Amazon, Facebook, TCS, Jio, Flipkart, Paytm and Myntra, etc. come to recruit students. On average there is 70-80% of students got placed. My plan after get my degree to do a job to stabilize my family and after a couple of years, I want to start my own company.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our basic per semester fee is approx 150k. You can get a scholarship or by income certificate. For the reserved category, there is a fee waiver. In 2nd year you get to chance to grab a paid internship by the CDC.
Campus Life :
Asia's largest tech fest- Ksthij and Asia's largest cultural fest- Spring Fest is organized at the end of January. And Asia's largest library is in our college with more than 2 lakh books. You can play almost all sports here. and if you are good in a particular sport you can participate in Inter-IIT and Inter-Hall championships. And in our college, there is a total of 80-90 clubs and societies i.e. comedy club, dance club, chess club, code club, entrepreneurship club, business club, and so on.
Hostel Facilities :
In our room, they provide a study table, bed, almirah, Fan, and so on. We have 4 time meals in almost hall. and many types of food are provided to us. food of quality in almost mess is good enough. you have to register for the hall at the time of college admission.
